The Pella boys basketball team is looking to bounce back from a difficult overtime loss, while the girls are trying to build early season momentum when Fairfield comes to town for a doubleheader tonight.

The Little Dutch fell 89-86 to Indianola in the extra period Friday, and they seek an opportunity to try and find a win against a team Head Coach Derek Schulte knows is very good and working to forge their own path to the state tournament.

Pella’s girls, despite a vast amount of inexperienced players, will try to build off of a needed win against the Indians against a Fairfield team sitting at 4-2 to start the season.

Pregame coverage with Trevor Castle and Mike Buchheit begins at 6 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS. Fans are encouraged to bring food items to benefit the Pella Community Food Shelf, as this week, the Little and Lady Dutch teams compete to see who can bring in the most items both tonight and on Friday at home against Norwalk.
