For the second week in a row, the Pella boys bowling team was barely edged by a conference foe, falling to Oskaloosa in the first home meet of the season 2790-2761.

And just like last week with Newton, Pella took a small lead after the individual scores rolled in, at 1894-1847. And in a bit of Deja Vu, it was a few tough rounds in the baker games that did in the Dutch, as the Indians claimed the lead after the fourth rotation.

Pella was led in the individual tallies by Matt DeJong (443) and Carson Reynolds (417).

The Lady Dutch were again shorthanded in their rotation, and fell 1981-989 with three varsity scores recorded. Sierra Vander Weerdt tallied a 241 in the individual rounds.

Pella returns to action after winter break, when they host Bondurant-Farrar on January 5th.
