The Pleasantville basketball teams will put a bow on the first half of the season tonight when they travel to Woodward-Granger for a doubleheader.

The Trojan girls are off to a 7-3 start and will look for their third straight victory. Pleasantville has been balanced offensively led by Taylor Foley with 7.8 points a game. Woodward-Granger is 2-7 on the year and 40 is the magic number, as both of their wins they have scored at least 40 points. In all seven of their losses they failed to reach the 40-point threshold. The Trojans have been strong defensively giving up just 36 points a game.

The boys are 3-5 on the season and coming off of a 60-56 win over Interstate-35 on Tuesday. Teron Mount has been productive offensively with 11.4 points a game. They will have their hands full with a Hawks squad that is 6-2 and led by Bryce Achenbach with 16 points a night.
