While the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad fell for the first time on Friday night to Bondurant-Farrar. The Panthers can take refuge that they also were able to come back from a large deficit to make a game of it in the fourth quarter. Knoxville was down by 25 points with around four minutes to go in the third quarter and went on a 17-0 run between the third and fourth quarters to cut the lead to eight. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was very proud of the girl’s willingness to come back and play hard. He adds that Friday’s loss exposed several things they team can now work on in the two weeks between games.
