While their last time on the mat did not go as they would have preferred, the Knoxville Wrestling Squad is making progress, if not small steps. In their last match against Ballard…the Panthers lost the dual 65-9. However, Coach Doug Hatch tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, many of his wrestlers were able to fight all the way to force a decision rather than giving up a pin. He says the guys can take a lot of positives from matches like that. Hatch adds with injuries, the break comes at the right time for many of his wrestlers. Knoxville resumes the season January fifth at P-C-M.
