The Pleasantville boys’ basketball team might have turned a corner to end the 2018 portion of the season beating Interstate-35 and taking a seven-win Woodward-Granger team to the brink.

Head Coach Joel Allman tells KNIA Sports the team is starting to take care of the ball better and it has opened up the whole offense.

“We have taken steps in our turnover margin. The turnovers have gone down and the assists have gone up. Taking care of the basketball has provided us more opportunities to get shots up and we have seen our percentage go up because of it.”

The Trojans resume play Friday hosting Van Meter.
