The PCM girls’ basketball team opens up 2019 Friday when they travel to South Hamilton for a Heart of Iowa Conference matchup.

Both teams are battling for positioning in the middle of the league standings with the Mustangs sitting at 3-6 and South Hamilton at 3-8. Head Coach Jeff Lindsay tells KRLS Sports South Hamilton is much improved.

“It is always tough on the road in this conference and they are much better than the last couple years. Looking at film they have a lot of high-energy players that will be a challenge. I’ll be looking for our girls to get back to playing how I know they can.”

The contest gets started at 6 p.m. Friday at South Hamilton High School.
