Cold shooting kept the Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squads from beating Diagonal Tuesday night as the Sabers shot just 7/43 from the field to lose 34-19. Coach Trent Verwers told KRLS Sports they girls are doing a better job of getting open looks…they now need to start connecting. Grace Bailey led the Sabers with eight points. The Saber boys fell to the Maroons 50-32. Reese Wallace led Twin Cedars with eight points. The Sabers host Ankeny Christian on Friday.
