Not only does State Senator Ken Rozenboom anticipate a generally lighter than normal Legislative session, he also expects a slower agenda for the committee he chairs.

Rozenboom heads the Natural Resources and Environment Committee, and tells KRLS News a lot of the focus this year will be research and providing oversight to the water quality bill passed in 2018. As for the session as a whole, he expects less contentious debate about the budget as well, considering a surplus coming into the new fiscal year and over four percent revenue growth projected for 2020.
