The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in special session Friday afternoon.

The board first met in closed session to discuss negotiating strategies, before going back to open session to discuss budget preparation and hear a project update.

The board asked to see several different scenarios for salary increases to elected officials and those employees who are tied to those salaries, which will be reviewed at a board work session in the coming weeks.

The board also discussed plans for projects in 2019, such as Warren County working with Norwalk on the repair of 80th Avenue, establishing a vision for county employees based on teamwork and collaboration, and being prepared for an emergency situation.
