A Des Moines woman was arrested on theft and burglary charges last week, after an incident occurring in mid-December.

According to court records, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a burglary in Norwalk, where a welder and laptop were stolen. After pulling over 44-year-old Rebecca Miner for other offenses, sheriff’s deputies noticed the stolen items during a probable cause search. Miner is charged with burglary in the 3rd degree and theft in the 2nd degree due to the stolen items being worth more than $1,000, both of which are class D felonies.
