Five plus inches of snow fell in Indianola over the weekend, with a snow ordinance in place for over three days from Friday afternoon to Monday evening.

During the ordinance, the Indianola Police Department wrote 30 tickets for parking on city streets, towed one car, and responded to two weather-related vehicle accidents. The area will face another possible storm and snow ordinance this weekend, with temperatures projected to drop rapidly and a possible 3-6 inches of snow and blowing snow beginning Friday afternoon.
