The money rolled in for the Knoxville and Pella booster clubs on Tuesday night, as representatives of each club took part in a charity tire roll as part of the evening’s basketball games.

Raceway Tire and Exhaust chose four fans of each team to roll a tire from half court to the north wall of the gymnasium; on the wall was a sheet with various denominations up to 500 dollars, and whichever part of the sheet the tire hit, their respective club received this amount.

One contestant from each school was then given a chance to double their money, by rolling a larger tire the full length of the court. Neither one made it, so they re-rolled from half court to earn more cash.

A total of $3,600 was split between the two clubs; over the last four years, participants have earned a total of $22,300 for their clubs.
