With three weeks left in the regular season the Pleasantville girls’ basketball team sits at 8-7.

Head Coach Aaron Fichter tells KNIA Sports the small details down the stretch of the season are going to be critical for his team especially improving at the charity stripe.

“The free throw line has hurt us in some games this year. We are doing a good job of getting to the line but we have to convert those free points. We can put time in at the line in practice but we need to take advantage in games.”

The Trojans are shooting 54% as a team from the line. Pleasantville gets back on the court Friday at Madrid.
