Mother Nature has been cruel to area basketball teams the past week but the Pleasantville basketball teams hopes today will be an outlier and they can get their doubleheader in against Madrid.

The Trojan girls (8-7) have had a 10-day layoff since falling to Earlham 50-23. Pleasantville will get a challenge from a 6-8 Madrid team that has won five of their last seven contests. The Pleasantville boys (6-9) will look to snap a mini two game-losing skid. It won’t come easy though, as Madrid (12-2) has averaged a remarkable 90 points per game in their last five.

The action gets underway at 6 p.m. tonight at Madrid High School. Listen to the games on the KNIA3 Stream starting at 5:45 p.m.
