The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad’s furious start against another conference opponent paid off again, this time the victim was Eddyville-Blakesburg on Saturday at the Panthers stormed by the Rockets 69-35. A 20-6 first quarter set the tone for the rest of the evening allowing Knoxville to coast in the second half after building a 23 point lead that would grow to 35. Katie Keitges had 28 points to lead the Panthers, Maggie Wilkins scored 18. Knoxville is now 14-3 and 11-0 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers along with the boys will host Grinnell on Monday.
