The Pella boys basketball team knows the group of teams they’ll have to best to return to Wells Fargo Arena and the state tournament.

Pella landed in Class 3A substate six, with Knoxville, Ballard, Bondurant-Farrar, Carlisle, Grinnell, Nevada, and Newton.

The Little Dutch are seeking a trip to the 3A final eight after missing last year, most recently, they made appearances from 2015-2017.

Official brackets for boys teams in 1A and 2A come out this Friday, and the larger schools will learn their journey on February 8th. The Class 4A and 5A girls brackets are due this Thursday from the state girls union.
