Pella and Pella Christian bowlers clashed at Excita-Bowl in Pella Saturday, with the Pella boys winning 2779-2196 and the Eagles girls winning 1634-1051.

In the boys individual rounds, Matt DeJong of Pella led the way with a two-game score of 451, followed by Reid Miller with a 409. Cole Webster’s 385 was the best score for Pella Christian, followed by Blake Veenstra’s 327. The girls rounds were led by Megan Jennings of the Lady Dutch with a 262, and the Eagles were paced by Lexi Matherly’s 251.

Pella is off until Feburary 7th when they travel to Mustang Lanes in Monroe to take on Knoxville. The Eagles return to action this afternoon in a rescheduled dual with Oskaloosa at Mahaska Lanes.
