Warming Centers are opening for those needing a warm place today. Wind chill values will dip to as low as 45 degrees below zero through the late morning, and stay as low as 30 below zero until Thursday morning.

The following list was released by Marion County Emergency Management:

Knoxville – City Hall will be open from 7am to 6pm, Knoxville Public Library will be open from noon to 4pm.

Pella – The Well Resource Center will be open from 9am to 5pm. Crossroads in the Pella Community Building will be open from 9am to 5pm.

Pleasantville – Memorial Hall can be opened if needed. Contact Pleasantville City Hall, Pleasantville Police Department or the EMA office.

Melcher-Dallas – The Public Library will be open Wednesday from noon to 6pm and Thursday from 11am to 5pm. City Hall can be open from 8am to midnight.

Bussey – City Hall Community Center will be open from 8am-4pm, if after hours arrangements need made contact City Hall.

Harvey – The Community Building or church basement can be used if needed. Contact City Hall or Dennis Siebert for arrangements.

Hamilton – Contact City Hall or EMA if arrangements need made.

Swan – Contact City or EMA if arrangements need made.
