The Warren County Philanthropic Partnership is hosting a grant writing workshop tomorrow for those who are looking to apply for grants but need more information on the topic. WCPP is offering three types of grants, two High-Impact grants for up to $10,000 each, community grants for $501-$5,000, and a trails specific grant for $500. Executive Director of the WCPP Emily Roush-Bobolz tells KNIA News are awarded to better the community, so if you have an idea feel free to apply.

“Last year our High-Impact grant was towards a new foundation for Palmyra Church, which is on the historic registry and not being used for religious services. Other things we have awarded for include providing radios for police and fire departments, we’ve provided equipment that they have used for resuscitation purposes, and we’ve awarded smaller things such as providing tents for Cub Ccouts, so if it helps the community, please apply.”

The grant writing workshop takes place at noon tomorrow in the Indianola YMCA Community Room.
