The Indianola Hope Foundation, a group of former teachers dedicated to building a stronger community by touching the lives of children in the Indianola school district, is hosting a trivia night fundraiser Saturday evening at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Jackie Ward with the foundation tells KNIA News the group exists to help students with whatever they might need

“We are former teachers who realize that children need to not only attend school, but come to school feeling safe, having enough food, and go home to their family or whoever their caregivers are. We tend to their five basic needs of food, clothing, transportation, shelter, and medical needs, that is what we help children and families with.”
