The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock are warning visitors to stay off the ice.

Ice conditions are unstable due to rising lake levels, fluctuating temperatures, and rain and snow. Ice on reservoirs is extra dangerous due to the water constantly moving beneath the surface, and the rwater level also fluctuates daily, causing the ice to weaken. Park rangers ask all to use extreme caution along the shoreline and to not go out on the ice.
