Local students competed in the State Large Group Speech Competition over the weekend, after advancing from the District competition in mid-January. Indianola performances that received a Division “I” rating include “Dust and Blood” in Ensemble Acting, Group Improvisation, and a One-Act Play of “The Blue and the Gray”. Pleasantville High School received a Division “I” rating in choral reading with “You Make Me Sick” and Reader’s Theatre with “Bad Case of the Stripes.”
