Snow ordinances will go into effect for area cities with the anticipated storm in the forecast.

The Knoxville Snow Ordinance goes into effect at 10 p.m. Monday in anticipation of the coming storm. Parking is prohibited on all city streets until the storm ends and streets are plowed curb to curb.

Pella’s snow emergency ordinance starts at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and in effect until lifted. Any vehicles remaining on the street or in public parking lots are subject to ticketing and/or towing.

Indianola will go into effect once snow starts accumulating, up to 48 hours after it has ended.
