Pella Christian will look to build on their impressive win over Pleasantville Saturday in the Class 2A District Quarterfinals.

The Eagles will travel to Sigourney to take on Pekin. The Panthers are 13-5 overall and were afforded a first round bye. Pekin, however, has lost their last three after a six game winning streak, and they are led by senior Haley Gambell, a 5-10 senior averaging 13.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Head Coach Brad Engbers says there will be a little extra motivation for the Eagles girls to keep their season alive–as Pekin ended 2018 for the P.C. program.
