indianola-3

The Indianola boys basketball team, playing their second game in two days in the middle of a three game in three days stretch, fell to Dallas Center-Grimes Thursday evening 64-58. The Indians fell behind the Mustangs from the get-go, and just couldn’t get enough offense to muster a comeback as they trailed after every quarter. A strong first quarter for DCG gave them a 22-13 lead, and while the Indians fought back after that getting the deficit down to six at the end of the third, they ran out of gas for the loss. Indianola was led by Evan Gauger who scored 28, while Quinn Vesey scored 14. The Indians fall to 15-4 on the season, and take on Knoxville on the road tonight.
