Marion County will once again be well represented at Iowa’s elite football showcase.

Pella’s Ryan Gustafson and Nathan De Bruin and Noah Treimer of Pella Christian will play in the 47th Annual Shrine Bowl at the UNI Dome on Saturday, July 20th. Wes Cummings from the 2A State Champion PCM Mustangs will also be playing. The Pleasantville Dance Team has been again selected as the All-Star entertainment as well.

The athletes are playing on the South team made up of some of Iowa’s best football players generally along and south of I-80, against a North team with elite athletes as well. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS for continuing coverage.
