Pleasantville’s Aaron Fichter announced recently that he will step down as head coach of the varsity girls basketball team.

Fichter tells KNIA Sports it was a hard decision to make to step down but it is what is best for his family. He will continue to be head coach of the girls’ track team and the cross-country teams moving forward.

Fichter guided the Trojans to a 9-11 mark this past winter.
