A flood warning for Warren County continues, as both Warren and Marion counties continue to receive light to moderate amounts of rain. According to the National Weather Service, rain will impact the area throughout today with possible minimal amount of snowfall late this evening. The precipitation and snowmelt has caused damage to area roads and pushed local rivers to near and over flood levels. Both the English Creek near Knoxville and Middle River near Indianola have topped their banks in the past 48 hours. Ice jams are possible, which can cause a rapid rise in overall water levels. A flood watch will also go into effect for Marion County starting tomorrow, and running through Sunday. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for continuing weather coverage.
