A report from the Iowa Department of Education and Governor Reynold’s office stated that Iowa’s graduation rate has hit an all-time high of 91.4%, a figure which the Indianola Community School District exceeds by over 5% at 96.75%. The report also stated the dropout rate for the state for grades 9-12 was 2.67%, while Indianola currently sits at just .88%. The Iowa Board of Education has set a 95 percent goal for the statewide graduation rate.
