A new face will be between the pipes for the Knoxville Girls Soccer opener on March 29th at Ken Locke Stadium against Boone. Abby Wadle will take the reins from Haley Still, who graduated last year and saved 141 shots. Coach Matt Richhart tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Wadle is a freshman but is confident she will be ready and will do well when things get going. The other goalie, who will likely play a lot of defense this season, is another freshman Charlee Heffron. Richhart says the defense will be young, but there will be some quality athletes to make plays.
