The Pleasantville boys track team lost a heavy senior class a year ago and have plenty of spots to fill this spring.

Head Coach Dillon Daniel tells KNIA Sports there is a big freshman class this year that has been battling hard in practice to fill the open events.

“We are focused on growing every day. Right now spots are up for grabs so it has been exciting to see some of those younger guys step into those roles.”

Pleasantville starts the outdoor season Tuesday at Pella Christian.
