The Pella School Board approved a proposed budget for the next fiscal year at their meeting Monday. The board reviewed certified budget projections for the next year and set the tax levy rate at $14.70 per $1,000 of valuation for the district. An adjustment to the next academic calendar and an application for a foreign exchange student were also approved.
