The Pleasantville boys’ track team opens up the outdoor season today when they travel to Eagle Lane on the campus of Pella Christian.

Head Coach Dillon Daniel tells KNIA Sports he likes this meet because it allows them to put as many guys as he wants into events.

“This format allows us to get an official number on these guys and gauge where they are at. It is also great because some of the guys who will not see much time throughout the season will get to compete on the track. This is one of my favorite meets of the year.”

The action gets underway at 4:30 p.m. this evening in Pella.
