“Taming the Wild, Wild West in a Dress” will be performed from April 26th through the 28th at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center; this performance will be presented in partnership with Knoxville Community Schools.

The story revolves around Clarence Rawlins, whose traveling theater troupe heads to a town in the Old West when he thinks he’s inherited a saloon from an elderly relative.

But when they arrive, he discovers her handwriting was poor and he is now the owner of a salon. Since he’s unable to sell it off right away, Clarence is forced to don a dress and operate it under the name of Lady Claire Rawl.

Performances for “Taming the Wild, Wild West in a Dress” will be on Friday, April 26th and Saturday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m. with a matinee on Sunday, April 28th at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 each at the door
