The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad opened up its season in impressive fashion with a 6-0 win over Carlisle last night. Cristian Magana nailed two goal while Matt Brown had one and the Brothers Schmidt Elliott and Emmett each got a goal. Sam Wadle earned one assist and goalie Wyatt Darnell made five saves. The girls on the other hand were not a fortunate as the Panthers fell 7-0. Coach Matt Richhart told KRLS Sports his team has a lot of new faces and it will take some time to adjust to varsity speed. The boys are in action on Thursday at Albia while the girls return home to play P-C-M on Friday.
