Pella Christian stayed undefeated this season by defeating Knoxville 7-4 in a dual meet Monday at Eagle Lane. 2018 State Qualifier Alex Griggs opened with a singles win over Morgan Bush, before the Eagles won the next four in the order, including Lizzy Posthuma, Jaden Joy Morgan, Kitty Gu, and Megan Kramer. Josalin McKeever rounded out the singles set with a win for the Panthers. The Eagles’ top doubles pair of Bush and Posthuma battled back to win the doubles opener, and Gu/Olivia Van Der Pol and Kelly Van Wyk/Adrienne Vander Molen won the 3rd and 4th matches to seal the win for P.C., both in tiebreakers. Knoxville’s Griggs and Maasdam and Ippolito and Little won the 2nd and 5th doubles matches.
