Knoxville Police have confirmed the identity of a teen who was found dead in his home Friday night, and the investigation into his death is continuing.

15-year-old Jesse Adams was found dead in his home around 10:00 p.m. Knoxville police say they responded along with Knoxville Fire Department personnel. The results of a toxicology report on Jesse are pending, and could take several weeks.

Jesse’s obituary says he lived in Newton until last September, when he and his family moved to town; he was an eighth grade student at Knoxville Middle School.

Funeral services are scheduled for this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Celebrate Church, followed by burial at Graceland Cemetery.
