The Simpson Storm baseball team fell to American Rivers Conference rival Central 8-3 Tuesday afternoon. The Storm had an early 2-0 deficit, but cut the lead down to 1 with smart baserunning by Brady Held stealing second, and Devin Creger taking home plate in the exchange. The Storm quickly found themselves in a bigger hole come the 4th giving up two runs, before giving up runs in each of the 5th and 6th to seal the defeat. Brett Kauzlarich took the loss on the mound, as the Storm fall to 11-14 overall and 3-10 in conference play. Next up for Simpson baseball is the Kohawks making the trip to Indianola for a three game series this weekend.
