The Knoxville girls golf squad scored a 454 at the Oskaloosa Invitational on Thursday. The Panthers score was 42 shots better than the score they posted at the meet last year. Amy Sullivan led the Panthers with a personal best for 18 holes of 100. Knoxville hosts Albia on Monday.

The Knoxville Tennis Squad had mixed results with Davis County on Thursday night. The boys prevailed over the Mustangs 6-3. Singles winners included Tyler Wells, Gabe Matthias, R.J. Roberts, and Carter Short. The girls lost a close contest 5-4 to Davis County. Alex Griggs, Anna Sanderson, and Josalin McKeever won. The Panthers got just one doubles victory that was the team of Griggs and Alyssa Vaske winning at number two. The boys are off until Thursday for a conference meet with Albia…the girls get to play at the Joel Tonda Tennis Center today hosting their invitational.

The Knoxville Girls Track and Field Squad placed 13th at the Newton Cardinal Relays last night. Assistant Coach Michael Splavec told KNIA Sports they saw some improved times and distances. The best Panther finish was a fifth from the distance medley team.

The Knoxville Boys Soccer squad suffered their first loss of the season in a 5-0 set back to A-D-M last night. Wyatt Darnell came up with 14 saves on the night. Knoxville is now 5-1 and will host Newton on Monday.
