A Pella High School senior is continuing his football career by moving from one championship program to another. Chase Carter will be booting kicks for the Morningside Mustangs, who are the reigning NAIA National Champions, and located in Sioux City. Carter–who participated in this week’s signing day event at Pella High School, says he was impressed by the tradition of the program and how well he felt after meeting their coaching staff.

“Just the great history and the program and it just seemed like the right place for me,” Carter says. “I just liked the environment and the coaches–they just reminded me of Coach McKinstrey.”

Carter had a sensational senior campaign in his lone varsity season for the Dutch, hitting 47 of 48 point after tries and making four of five field goals.
