pints-2

Registration is closed for the Third Annual IYP Putt Putt and Pints Classic coming on May 4th, but Indianola Young Professionals are still inviting the public to come out and enjoy the event. Organizer Nick Carda tells KNIA News he wants the community to come out and enjoy the day, and hopefully contribute to a good cause.

“If you missed the signup or couldn’t find a team, then still show up on the day and enjoy the crowds, and enjoy the free food, and have some drinks and fun, and hopefully donate your time and money. There is also options to donate online if you like the charity but you can’t be there that day, that’s another option to be involved as well. So there is a lot of ways to get involved, and a lot of people and sponsors are involved.”

Funds raised will support the “Feeding Indianola’s Kids” charity, which provides a hot lunch for children in schools that do not qualify for free or reduced lunches when they run a negative account balance.
