Even though the usual spot is no longer available, the Knoxville Farmers Market will continue on as always when they resume for the season next month.

The Farmers Market has for years been set up in the southwest corner of the Hy-Vee parking lot; but construction work is now underway at this location for a new Hy-Vee gas station and convenience store.

So the Farmers Market will move over slightly; they will be on the south side of the Hy-Vee lot, next to the can redemption building used by Marion County Humane Society.

The hours will remain the same; they’ll be open Tuesdays from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon. Opening day for the market is Saturday, May 25th.
