The Pella Girls Tennis team edged Grinnell 7-4 at home Monday. Abbie Nunnkihoven, Lisa Dykstra, and Makenzie Van Maanen had singles wins for Pella, and the Lady Dutch won the first four doubles to clinch the match. Pella improves to 6-2 and 5-0 in the conference, a showdown with undefeated Pella Christian looms for the regular season Little Hawkeye crown today on Eagle Lane.

Pella Boys Tennis
Pella’s boys tennis team defeated Grinnell 9-2 in a conference dual. The No. 3 ranked Little Dutch had singles wins from Jordan Roozeboom, Jack Edwards, Carter Briggs, Vaughn Thompson, and Luke Diers. Pella hosts the conference meet on May 6th.

If the weather holds out, both Pella soccer teams will be back in action today. The Dutch, who fell to 6-5 overall after a home loss to Johnston last night, will travel to Oskaloosa, while the Indians come to Pella High to take on the No. 3 Lady Dutch. Both the Eagles and Dutch track teams will take place in the rescheduled Little Hawkeye Conference meets Wednesday.
