Traffic was closed for four hours in the eastbound lanes of Highway 163 about two miles west of Pella, for a two semi collision near 195th place.

At least one person was injured and transported from the scene; the crash has left a large amount of debris strewn across the road, and clean-up is in progress.

Pella Rural Fire, Pella Ambulance, Pella Police, Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol have responded. Tulip Time traffic may be impacted throughout the morning.
