Brian Brown’s engine was about to expire. But he was not worried as he nursed a sick engine to his 46th win at the Knoxville Raceway winning his second 410 show of the season in two attempts at Knoxville on Saturday. Brown spent the first half of the A-Main trying to figure out a way around race leader Josh Schneiderman. After a red flag, Brown was able to get by and won even though he was only running on seven cylinders. He told KRLS Sports he decided to run it until it blew up. Joe Beaver and Jon Agan had the race of the day and likely the best A-Mains seen in years as they traded the lead five times before Beaver took the checkered flag for the first time since 2016. Matthew Stelzer for the second straight week pulling away on a late race restart and winning by nearly a straightaway. The IRA vs. Knoxville 410 night is Saturday with another 360 and Pro Sprints show.
