PCM Boys Track and Field Squad finished 4th while the girls were 5th at the Pella High Invitational on Monday night. This meet served as the final tune up for many area and regional team before the State Qualifying Meets on Thursday. For the Mustang girls the 4×100 team of Morgan Uhlenhopp, Lexi Kuecker, Chelsea Bird, and Megan Cowman won the shuttle hurdle relay while Celeste Wagaman took second in the high jump, Sierra Foster was second in the 200 and Margo Chipps placed second in the 100 hurdles. For the boys the Mustangs were golden in the 800 sprint medley relay. The team of Payton Strovers, Preston VanWyk, Reed Worth, and Nigel Sperfslage clocked in at 1:36.97, and Strovers also took first in the long jump. The Mustangs had several runner up finishes including Cole Dustin in the 110 hurdles, the 4×100, 200, and shuttle hurdle relays.
