The Indianola Public Library is hosting their Kickoff to Summer Block Party on May 30th, starting off the summer programs for the library. The kickoff party will have food trucks, live music, and lawn games, and Alison Brown with the library tells KNIA News this is a great opportunity for those who don’t spend much time at the library to come down and see what it’s all about. The party also signals the start of the summer programs, such as the Summer Reading Program beginning in June, and family fun days with Blank Park Zoo animals. The Kickoff to Summer Block Party will be held on May 30th from 6-8pm, with everyone invited.
