Several local schools received a boost as part of a program at Marion County Bank. More than $25,000 was given to Pella and Pella Christian schools as part of the Report Card Debit Card Rewards Program. Marion County Bank launched the initiative in 2007 and has donated nearly $194,000 to local schools since it started. Report Card allows the bank’s debit card customers to support one of 13 local schools, and with each purchase, Marion County Bank makes a donation to the school of their choice. Enrollment in Marion County Bank’s Report Card is free and there’s no limit to the money a school can earn.
