Several area teams came to Bos Landen for the final boys regular season golf meet of the spring. Pella Christian hosted an invitational Monday evening. Norwalk placed first with a 334, edging Pella by six strokes. Luke Galeazzi paced the Dutch with an 84, Will Simpson and Trey Wood each carded an 85, and John Oltman shot 86. Pella’s JV placed 6th at 377. The host Eagles finished in seventh place. Cole Webster led the Eagles with a score of 95, and Micah Mitchell carded a 98. Kyle Gao’s 102 and Devin Haveman’s 113 rounded out the scoring for Pella Christian. PCM was 5th in the field of 8 teams. Andrew Mitchell led the Mustangs with an 84, Reed Worth shot 87, Andrew Van Ryswyk shot 91, and Gatlin Boell carded a 95. Pella competes in the Class 3A district meet with a state tournament bid on the line Thursday at Edmundson in Oskaloosa, while the PCM team and Pella Christian’s Micah Mitchell head to the 2A district meet in Wapello.
